Ensuring that reservations are fulfilled in a timely manner while meeting all deadlines
Coordinating activities between incoming and outgoing groups to ensure that they are well accommodated throughout their stay
Processing payment for all reservations using a computer reservation system, such as Sabre or Amadeus
Managing the reservations department staff, including hiring new employees as needed
Organizing and overseeing all reservations activities including making sales calls and soliciting new business
Assisting clients with special requests or problems with reservations or accommodations
Ensuring the accuracy of information in company databases related to client data, reservations, payments, and other records
Working with marketing staff to develop new products or services to meet customer needs
Communicating with clients to answer questions about their reservations or other travel arrangements
