The Reservations Executive is responsible for handling booking inquiries, processing reservations, and ensuring accurate and efficient reservation services. The role focuses on maximizing occupancy/revenue while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Handle reservation requests via phone, email, online platforms, and walk-ins
Accurately enter, modify, and cancel reservations in the system
Provide information on room types, rates, availability, packages, and policies
Coordinate with front office, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth bookings
Upsell and cross-sell services to maximize revenue where appropriate
Maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles
Handle special requests and ensure guest preferences are noted
Monitor booking trends, no-shows, and cancellations
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience in reservations, front office, or customer service (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., PMS, CRS) and MS Office
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
