Role Summary

The Research Scientist will lead discovery chemistry efforts across multiple programs, integrating medicinal chemistry design with biological and pharmacological data to advance candidate selection. Independently design, synthesize, purify, and characterize small molecules to support internal discovery and optimization programs across diverse therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead medicinal chemistry design efforts from early discovery to IND-enabling studies. Develop and prioritize structure-activity relationship (SAR) strategies and apply computational insights for rational drug design. Plan and execute complex multi-step organic syntheses for novel chemical entities. Supervise small teams of chemists and manage external collaborations (CRO, academic

partners). Make decisions based on complex datasets including potency, selectivity, ADME, and in vivo efficacy. Draft patent applications, coordinate IP strategy, and contribute to regulatory documentation. Maintain awareness of emerging chemistry and therapeutic trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
