Reporting to (Title):

Group Leader - Analytical PRD

Position Purpose

  • The Position will be responsible for assisting in analytical method development of assigned project within given timeframe as per safety and environmental rules.
  • Raw materials and finished products analysis. Generating Certificate of Analysis (COA) and compiling supporting documents. Pro-activeness to trouble shoots any complexity during analysis.
Strategic Responsibilities
  • To understand the analytical scope of the project assigned.
  • Inputs in planning of analytical support to R&D and Kilo and Pilot Plant.
  • To ensure proper maintenance of laboratory instruments or equipment\'s.
  • Timely calibration of assigned instruments.
  • Proper house- keeping and use of PPE\'s.
  • Use relevant MSDS for safe handling and disposals of toxic chemicals.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Analytical Method Development on GC, HPLC and Wet analysis.
  • Analytical Method Validation / Verification/Evaluations on GC, HPLC and Wet analysis.
  • Routine analysis and Standard Test Procedure (STP) preparation.
  • Characterization of various compounds by UV-Vis., FT-IR, DSC, FT-NMR and Mass (LC-MS/GC-MS) Spectroscopy.
  • Preparation of Reference Standard/Working Reference Standard, Calibration solutions and Calibration of Instruments.
  • Elemental Characterisation by CHNS Analyser and Elemental impurities analysis by ICP-OES and MS.
  • On-line data logging into Analytical Lab. note books/ LIMS System at ADL.
  • Analysis support to KL/PP and commercial site method transfer.
Financial Responsibilities
  • Contribute to budget proposals.
  • Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility.
People Responsibilities
  • Utilization of all available sources for skill up-gradation.
  • Actively participation in problem solving sessions/ training programs.
  • Coordination and communication with interdepartmental team members.
  • Time management.
Education Qualification

Master/Doctorate in Analytical /Organic Chemistry from a reputed University / Institute.

Work Experience

2-6 Industrial Experience.

Industry to be Hired from

Agro Chemicals/Fine chemicals/ Pharma-API and Specialty chemicals.
