Job Description

Educational Qualification: Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry/laboratory preferred. MSc-Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology/Botany/Microbiology with research/laboratory experience of not less than 2 years. BVSc with experience in lab analysis for at least a year or MVSc- nutrition, pharmacology, public health from a university established in India by law. Published scientific papers in any reputed journals. : Proximate analysis, vitamins, minerals and microbiological assessment of feed and supplements. Receiving, labelling, and analysing agricultural samples used in animal feed. Conducting farm visits for sample collection, storage and detailed sample analysis for biochemical changes and publishing reports after analysis Sound knowledge regarding ruminants and poultry physiology and nutrition Documentation and maintain lab inventory, calibrate lab equipment and perform tests according to standards. Must be able to work independently in lab and maintain a good level of professionalism along with abiding all environmental, health and safety along with maintaining good laboratory practices Experienced in conducting proximate analysis, toxin testing, vitamins & mineral analysis, testing for heavy metal, and handholding in HPLC, ABS, LC, GC, ELISA and Spectrophotometry. QC/QA checks of supplements and feed. Conduct research & development activities pertaining to ruminant nutrition Well versed in writing scientific articles and publish results accordingly Must have ability to work with computer systems, such as Microsoft, and other laboratory equipment.
