Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated and extremely organized individual with excellent problem-solving skills who understands the importance of teamwork and accuracy. Specific requirements will include: o Day-to-day, comprehensive monitoring of global industry, regulatory, financial, clinical and social media sites/feeds using a variety of secondary research resources o Extensive use of many databases including clinical (TrialTrove, Pharmaprojects, Biopharm Insight, etc.), financial and/or commercial sites (Call Street, StreetAccount, Thomson One, etc.) and a full knowledge of their capabilities o News monitoring (global): capture the latest breaking news as closely as possible to when it happens o Social media monitoring (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) o Setting of alerts in many resources as well as on Google and company websites o Project team assignments that involve diversified therapy areas and medical device types o Collaborating with team members and helping with ad hoc research requests involving in-depth searches for information o Reviewing and highlighting of transcripts and slide presentations by leading pharmaceutical and medical device firms focusing on items of interest to specific project needs o Creation of conference planners (Excel-based) using supplied key research terms; these are used by our consultants during their attendance at various global medical conferences o Client teleconference participation for kickoff meetings and project update meetings Requirements: o Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Major/Minor in Life Sciences preferred) o Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills as well as strong listening and investigative skills o Detailed organization skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure o Willingness to take initiative, exercise independent judgment and act decisively o Strong planning and prioritization abilities o Analytical curiosity with an ability to summarize information into relevant details
