The Role: PEP Research Analyst II - India

The Location: Gurgaon

Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 08

This role will contribute to develop conceptual designs and costs for processes used in the chemical and energy industries. This position is required to to provide technical editing support to reports and reviews produced by Senior PEP Researchers. Presently there are 11 research analysts in Asia region.

General Job Duties:

• Edit scheduled reports and reviews needed to support program commitments.
• Co-ordinate with Publishing group and remote editors to meet the needs of corporate publications.
• Asist PEP Researchers to do primary literature search.
• Track requests for literature from PEP Researchers, and follow up with acquisition group, if needed.
• Location: Gurgaon, Ambience Tower, India
• Shift: General, 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

The candidate is expected to edit research chemical technologies independently. Report writing and command of American English language and grammar is important to articulate the findings Of importance is the ability to coordinate with PEP Researchers to ensure copyright of original sources is not infringed, and if necessary assist the PEP Researchers in contacting the copyright owner.. Ability to understand the scientific concepts and language is required. Ability to do primary research through the scientific discovery tools, patent searches and similar tools is required.

Required Education:

• Bachelors/master\'s in chemistry, Biochemistry, Sciences and/or journalism from an accredited university of repute.

What We\'re Looking For:

• 2 - 4 years\' experience in editing general or scientific literature like analytical reports or technical manuals. In the area of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• A good understanding of Chemistry or general scientific concepts is a requirement.
• Proficient use of internet search engines and other online technical databases for patent and literature searches is required
• Excellent technical writing, excellent command of the language and presentation skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated experience that indicates the ability to quickly learn and summarize and utilize extremely complex information.
• Strong interpersonal skills and maturity to be able to work with global teams.
