Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Request Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming requests and ensuring streamlined processes for user access management, The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a solid understanding of IT systems and access controls around.

Key Responsibilities:

Request Management:

  • Receive, prioritize, and process incoming requests from various departments and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather detailed information regarding their access requirements.
  • Track and monitor the status of requests, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Escalate and communicate effectively with relevant teams to resolve issues or provide additional support.
  • Administer user access controls and permissions for various systems and applications.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Work closely with IT and security teams to implement and enforce access management policies.
  • Provide user access support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to access management processes and procedures.
  • Generate and analyze reports on access requests, incidents, and access reviews.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance efficiency and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure a unified approach to access management.
Good to have skills

Ms Exchange, AD, Azure and technical certifications.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in request management and user access management within an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of access controls, permissions, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Certification in ITIL, or other relevant technical certifications is a plus.
  • MCITP/A+/CCNA desired
  • MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP/A+ certification desired.
