You will be joining the Foundational Platforms Team as Reporting and Dashboard developer for reporting on set of various Service Management Areas like IT Service Management, Asset Management and Risk Management. In this role, you will be accountable to drive a culture of proactive continual improvement and innovation in the visualization and reporting spheres. You will engage and partner with the business whilst working within a broader creative, collaborative, and innovative team, with a strong desire to make an impact. Foundational Platforms is responsible for driving improvement in the governance processes and exposing the data necessary to capitalize on analytics and automation opportunities.

Your key responsibilities
  • Develop, document, and test reporting solutions using industry standard tools
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability in report development and data visualization
  • Identify and evangelize design best practices in data visualization that promote user friendly and high-quality products
  • Design & develop end to end scalable visualization solutions using Tableau for BI reporting & to project various Business KPI metrics
  • Responsible to design complex & optimized SQL queries in Oracle
  • Reviewing the Business' functional requirements and preparing the system impact analysis and low level technical design documents
Your skills and experience
  • Exposure to multiple BI implementations in the areas of designing intuitive interfaces and dashboards for canned and ad-hoc reports
  • Hands on with Tableau Desktop dashboard or Business Object report authoring and troubleshooting data source management.
  • Expertise in building data visualizations in the form of dynamic dashboards with multiple KPIs
  • In-depth experience with Visual Analytics and a knack for creating clean & readable Tableau visualizations / charts / graphs
  • Good knowledge in using Business Objects Enterprise as well as the latest versions of Tableau Desktop/Server, SQL, and PL SQL scripting.
  • Create and edit SQL queries within Tableau to build calculated fields, create interactive filters parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server.
  • Hands-on experience using Dimensional Data Modelling, Star Schema Modelling, Snow-Flake Modelling, Fact and Dimension Tables, Physical and Logical Data Modelling.
  • Strong experience in creating analytical reports using Dimensional Hierarchies, Level Based Measures using LOD, Time series data, Statistical / Analytical functions like forecasting, Trend Lines, Reference lines, etc. in Tableau.
  • Good to have exposure to SAP BO
  • Oracle SQL/PL SQL skills to create complex joins and awareness of the Oracle functions & cursors
  • Good understanding of DataMart / Data warehouse concepts
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organisations
  • Excellent team player with an open mind to keep pace with technical innovation
  • Experience with Tableau application performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning is not a requirement, but a plus
  • Experience in QlikView, Power BI, Spotfire is not a requirement, but a plus
