We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. WeaAEURA(TM)re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

aAEURAa, a, a, Lead delivery of regular releases which include changes from across multiple workstreams, taking ownership of release scoping; environment preparation; testing co-ordination and deployment management.
aAEURAa, a, a, Liaise closely with project managers, business teams and technical teams throughout the release cycle to ensure successful transition of changes into live.
aAEURAa, a, a, Lead co-ordination of the Technical Change Advisory Board, production of management information and the coordination of the overall change schedule
aAEURAa, a, a, Responsible for developing, documenting, publishing and maintaining release management standards, plans and procedures (including governance)
aAEURAa, a, a, Effective and transparent communications to all interested stakeholders in the release process.
aAEURAa, a, a, Lead process of evolution to reduce the release cycle time; improve the efficiency of the release process and ensure that the release process is as lightweight as possible while focussing on quality.
aAEURAa, a, a, Lead to enable higher change cadence and capacity.a,
aAEURAa, a, a, Responsible for capturing metrics and measurements to track and measure release quality

a, What will you be doing?
aAEURAa, a, a, Develop and maintain effective relationships with teams across the organisation, ensuring the smooth delivery of applications into the production environment.
aAEURAa, a, a, Plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the scoping, through to deployment of releases into production, with line of sight on the impacts and implication to front to back customer journeys/business services
aAEURAa, a, a, Liaise with project / product managers, keeping them updated on release progress against milestones, risks, issues and finances.
aAEURAa, a, a, Build a strong relationship with Service Management to achieve trust and foster an efficient delivery process.
aAEURAa, a, a, Co-ordinate with testing teams especially through the latter stages of the testing lifecycle leading up to the release.a,
aAEURAa, a, a, Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team to drive forward an efficient release process utilising industry best practices.
aAEURAa, a, a, Establish self as an SME for Release Management.
aAEURAa, a, a, Work closely with the component teams to understand technical delivery dependencies and manage the progress of the release through the release cycle.

aAEURAa, a, a, Experience in managing release pipeline across different technology stacks like Java, .Net
aAEURAa, a, a, Experience in managing API deployment across different frameworks
aAEURAa, a, a, Knowledge of Service first for change management, problem & Incident management
