Responsible to lead the planning and coordination of multiple phases of the development and implementation of assigned applications. Monitor and drive the project deliverables by implementing the best practices. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities Responsible to plan, track and deploy the production releases for applications such as ServiceMax, Salesforce, Trackwise, Manhattan and more Engage from the beginning of the change lifecycle (new demand) till the tracking of the development, managing the scope lock windows, ensuring changes are ready in time for testing, and executing the cutover and deployment of the release across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. In BD we have major release (annual), quarter releases, and weekly releases under release management principles Track the progress and health of each release, generate comprenhensive reporting, and escalating when risk are identified. Ensure changes are on time available for IT, UAT, specially when system are regulated and requires proper quality sign off. Coordinate with testing team , accomodate the regression testing. Release lead will manage both regular AMO (application Maintenance Operations) and Project initiatives. Escalation of relevant risks and issue to Senior Project / Program Management Ensure the delivery and application of a common delivery management framework including Methodology, Governance, SoW, Status Reporting and Risk and Issue Management Ensure that all projects are delivered aligned with Release Management Processes Manage and support projects and tasks of various s of cross functional applications and the related processes examples are software implementations, integrations, optimizations, upgrades and patches Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Follow internal BD change management procedures to promote changes to production Follow governance and compliance procedures related to Audit and SOX controls Coordination of vendor and third party resources Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Proven track record of technical leadership of strategic enterprise projects Experience in vendor management Experience of defining high level strategies, technical architectures & road maps Broad knowledge of and experience with a wide variety of application technologies, platforms, and tools including web-based systems, databases, middleware/integration technologies, security, and infrastructure. Excellent communication skills to be able to liaise effectively with Senior stakeholders, team members and 3rd parties. Experience of the full project lifecycle, delivering both custom and package applications Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects Proven track record of successful project delivery of medium and large scale IT projects on time and budget with a track record of managing several small/medium projects at the same time Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects Good listener, responsive to application user needs, answering questions Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and technical judgment Strong leadership and collaboration skills Proven ability to work with geographically dispersed teams Passionate and committed to operations and technical excellence Strategic and creative thinkers Able to grasp and communicate complex ideas clearly Comfortable with travel Ability to work independently, organized and rigorous QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum of 15years professional industry experience in IT Delivery Master degree in Technology, Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
