Key Responsibilities 1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Identify and acquire new customers through field visits, referrals, and company-generated leads.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term engagement.
Conduct regular follow-ups with customers for new business opportunities. 2. Sales & Business Development
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate life, health, or general insurance products.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for new policies and renewals.
Present product features, benefits, and comparisons to customers clearly and professionally.
Upsell and cross-sell relevant insurance solutions. 3. Customer Service & Retention
Assist customers with queries related to policy issuance, premium payments, claims, and renewals.
Ensure timely renewal reminders and reduce policy lapse rates.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly. 4. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure accurate completion of proposal forms, KYC documents, and compliance requirements.
Maintain updated records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Adhere to regulatory guidelines prescribed by IRDAI and company policies. 5. Market Intelligence
Stay updated on competitor offerings, industry trends, and product updates.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and market opportunities. Key Skills & Competencies
