Profile Summary :

As a member of the Product Management team and the Engineering & Technology Sector, the Regulatory Analyst plays a key role in leading Optel's country compliance regulations intelligence for pharmaceutical, food, and other industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify the appropriate regulation (pharma, food and agrochemical) based on jurisdiction in various countries.

Monitor and analyze countries' regulation business processes as well as technological requirements, based on the gathering of official documentation (legal and technical) and API information

Participate in official industry forums and report on their deliberations.

Produce and make presentations to Optel stakeholders (product, development, sales teams, etc.)

Produce marketing collateral content for blogs, white papers and other marketing collaterals.

Present and promote Optel concepts at industry forums, conferences and webinars.

Acquire knowledge on additional industry regulations.

Acquire global Optel compliance solutions knowledge and be able to act as a subject matter expert.

Contribute, in collaboration with the product management team, to Optel's compliance related solutions roadmaps and business cases.

Understand competitive market landscape in respect to regulations.

Key Experience & Skill Set :

Bachelor's Degree

7+ years of relevant experience

A solid understanding of the legislative process in one or more countries is necessary.

A solid interest in regulatory as well as international affairs.

Curiosity and attention to details.

Ability to synthesize large and moderately complex texts.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to think and act strategically;

Good presentation skills;

Good interpersonal skills;

English proficiency, oral and written;

Foreign language proficiency (ideally French and Spanish)

Nice to have :

Experience in Pharmaceutical, Consumer Packaged Goods, Agrochemical, Metals & Minerals and Residual Material is a plus.

Russian, Portuguese, Arabic or Mandarin language proficiency
