Reporting into the Regioanl Head of Regulatory Affairs, you shall be responsible for

• Ensuring timely submission and registration of new products/SKUs in respective markets by working closely and liaisoning with the relevant competent authorities
• Supporting New Product Development through participation at product brief and artwork development stages, and providing expertise and direction on product classification and product claims during the NPD Process
• Supporting clearance of import/export consignments by working closely with EXIM team and customs and relevant authorities
• Experience timely submission of annual/quarterly returns to FSSAI
• Monitoring potential changes in regulations and proactively liaise with relevant internal stakeholders and/or local competent authorities to minimise any impact to the business
• Ensuring continuous regulatory intelligence and knowledge sharing across the organisation
• Reviewing and approving product labels, promotional and non-promotional materials
• Ensuring Loftware labels (B-B) are developed and maintained in line with FSSAI labelling and display regulations and our client's standards and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with safety data sheets, recipes and labels for raw materials and premixes following the applicable regulation
• Maintaining and implementing Regulatory management system (Optiva, MDM and etc)
• Assisting in aligning local regulatory requirements with our client's internal systems
• Visiting to government authorities and offices to complete necessary formalities for applications, licenses, free sale certificates, import / export veterinary certificates, registrations etc

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you are a Food Science / Food Tech graduate with 7+ years of experience in handling regulations and compliance for finished goods in Food / Pharma / Nutraceuticals. You are a core regulatory expert with the past experience in handling product licensing, new product registration, FSSAI, and FDA. Knowledge of flavors and enzymes is a plus.
