Job Description


  • To lead and set direction for the development and the continuous improvement of Supply Planning capabilities across the AEMA Region for CP aiming to deliver measurable productivity improvements.
  • To ensure maximum leverage of the platforms: APO across all countries to provide efficiency gains, simplicity, and an improved customer experience
  • To bring AMEA supply planning capabilities to next level maturity through engagement of Supply Planning key users (Asset Planners, Supply Chain Planners, Vendor Scheduler, Country Supply Planners) with regular trainings, refresh webinars, community discussions, tracking of incidents and change requests, monitoring and driving regional roadmaps, and coordination with the IT teams and Regional/Global CoE Planning team.
  • To support end-to-end supply planning process development AMEA Region and across functions
  • Support the AMEA supply planning change agenda in coordination with project managers and business process consultants and Integrated business planning capability lead
Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the sustainable management, continuous improvement, and adoption of supply planning processes in AMEA Region for CP.
  • Develop and lead the network of supply planning key users in AMEA
  • Lead the continuous improvement of supply planning tools
  • Ensure the sustainable development and continuous improvement of business planning capabilities aligned to regional and global productivity initiatives.
  • Co-ordinate idea generation & prioritization across regional commercial, demand planning, and supply chain key user communities
  • Lead or sponsor key supply planning capability improvement projects
  • Implement assessment of supply planning capability development needs and build capability improvement roadmaps focusing on processes, people, and technology.
  • Provide the trainings and onboarding programs for Supply Planning community

Qualifications

Critical experience
  • 10+ years of supply chain experience e.g. in planning, procurement, logistics and order management, HSES; quality, demand Management & customer service
  • Proven team leadership and capability development
  • Advanced planning skills and system knowledge SAP R/3, APO
  • Experience of the key interfaces within the supply chain
  • Managing risk and understanding trade-offs

Additional Information

Education:
  • Relevant business degree
  • Good knowledge of the P&S infrastructure, processes, and governance both regionally and globally
  • Advance understanding of planning (planning expert) and excellent system knowledge (SAP, APO)
