Our R&D pipeline demands a new kind of supply chain, and we need the very best minds and capability to help us on our journey to make more complex products, harnessing the power of automation and robotics so we can work smarter together Job Purpose:- To plan a resource, or group of resources for the Regional Supply Chain from production to the point of sale. Perform Rough Cut Capacity Planning for the resource, maintain accurate planning parameters in the system and handover an optimal, achievable supply plan to the Regional Site Production Scheduler for execution. Key Responsibilities:- Develop an optimal, achievable supply plan for a SKU subset, aligned to a manufacturing resource, or group of resources, for the full planning horizon. Leads the handover of the Supply Plan to Site Production execution and Scheduling. Manage the order book to the point of sale (ex-GSK) liaising with the site and Demand managers to gather regional intelligence to support decisions on supply plan priorities. Validate net requirements for site and escalate any issues to the Regional SC Planning Lead Facilitate the Supply Review Meeting (SRM) as part of the Core Commercial Cycle. Maintain accurate supply planning parameters in the ERP system, through all supply nodes, in line with the inventory and service policies. Regularly review demonstrated performance against SC design. Evaluate supply planning performance and trends for its SKU subset, and supports the SC Planning Manager/Lead and investigates the root cause of issues of KPIs deviations and recommends actions to prevent reoccurrence. Provides periodic static data extraction and validation for integrity and consistency ensures data updated in relevant supply chain systems provides KPI measures around data integrity and accuracy. Provides standard reporting for therapy and dynamic reporting across categories / structures links to site based teams for local MRP data for additional reporting / analysis. Execute and support inventory optimization activities with the Regional SC Planning Manager/Lead Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required:- A. Educational Background 1. Minimum Level of Education - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and/or Business Administration B. Job-Related Experience Demonstrated experience of supply planning in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment. In-depth knowledge of supply planning processes operating over 0-24 month horizon including rough cut capacity planning and inventory management. Experienced in the use of SAP for supply planning including data parameterization to drive planning outcomes. Advanced level Excel skills required Good problem solving skills with the ability to pull together multiple data sources to reach decisions directly impacting supply to customers Ability to connect and influence multiple stakeholders across various disciplines including finance, quality, technical, production & scheduling to drive performance.
