Regional Sales Manager (Hotel Rooms Sales)

Position Overview:We are seeking an accomplished and driven Regional Sales Manager with a proven track record in hotel rooms sales to lead our sales efforts in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a sales team, and building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed room revenue targets for the assigned region.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and effective collaboration.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to expand the hotel\'s client base.
  • Foster relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new accounts through sales visits, presentations, and networking.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotions, packages, and sales collateral.
  • Establish and maintain a strong presence in the local market by attending industry events, trade shows, and business networking functions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients while ensuring alignment with the hotel\'s revenue and profit objectives.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as reservations and operations, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Regularly update and maintain the CRM system to track sales activities and client interactions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hotel rooms sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hotel industry, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales-related tools.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel within the region for client visits and industry events.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
