Job Designation: Regional Sales Manager (South) Compensation-20-25 lacs p.a. Reporting Manager- NSM Location- Bangalore Role & responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the region, aligning it with the company\'s overall goals and objectives. Conduct market research and analyze customer needs and preferences to identify new business opportunities. Set sales targets and objectives for the region and develop strategies to achieve them. 2. Team Leadership and Management: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance and productivity. Set performance expectations, monitor individual and team progress, and conduct regular performance reviews. 3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and major accounts within the region. Understand customer requirements, address their concerns, and provide appropriate solutions. Conduct regular customer visits and participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company\'s products and services. 4. Sales and Business Development: Actively engage in sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals. Monitor sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and pricing strategies. Preferred candidate profile Master\'s degree in marketing, or related field. Proven experience as Area Sales Manager or a similar role in the bakery or food services, food processing industry. Strong knowledge of bakery and food service products, industry trends, and customer preferences. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Analytical mindset and strong business acumen to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (more than 10 crores).
