Roles and Responsibilities -


Drive business growth in the region contributing significantly to overall copper sales, aligning with the strategic vision of being the No. 1 preferred supplier for all customers.
Lead the transition toward 100% E-Commerce-based sales, ensuring digital adoption and operational efficiency.
Develop and execute regional sales and marketing plans, conduct commercial negotiations, and manage revenue, pricing, and stock objectives to protect and enhance margins.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through market expansion and customer development, promoting domestically produced refined copper and value-added products.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders to ensure long-term engagement and customer satisfaction.
Represent Sterlite Copper in strategic accounts, uphold Vedanta's values, and deliver exceptional customer value through proactive engagement and service excellence.
Leverage business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights, support demand planning, and collaborate with plant and supply chain teams for seamless execution.
Ensure adherence to Vedanta's governance standards, ethical practices, and compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
Drive operational excellence in logistics, depot operations, and contract administration, ensuring timely delivery and superior customer experience.
Continuously develop and mentor regional team members, fostering a culture of performance, safety, and innovation.

Qualifications


Graduate Engineer with MBA and 8 to 10 experiences in sales, marketing, and commercial operations within metals or industrial sectors.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market share growth in competitive environments.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage customers and stakeholders effectively.
Expertise in market analysis, pricing strategies, and operational execution to deliver business objectives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills combined with a customer-first mindset.
