Purpose of the position

The role will be responsible for making Business Strategy and implementing it for driving Business activities for the region. The role will involve networking, developing contacts, generating leads to meet Business volume growth in Govt Institution and Private Organisations. The role will also involve strong relationships with the key Government Departments, key customers, and Channel partners for smooth operations of Business Activities for the region.

1 Business Development and Growth Strategy

  • Developing and driving Business Growth and Market share enhancement through New and Existence mobility solutions.
  • Plan and drive initiatives to improve enquiry flow and conversion ratio across the LOBs of TSCMSL.
  • Drive Growth and Penetration in the region.
  • Drive Execution of Demand Planning activities to support the Business growth.
  • Work closely with Tender & Purchase, TML Sales team, Product Line team to improve the Mobility Solutions offerings in order to drive growth & Market share.
  • Engage with Stake holders: key customers, Government Authority, State Transport Authorities.
  • Develop Branding and Marketing Strategies to increase awareness to reach.
o Provide support in execution of marketing plans that include brand specific campaigns, events, new product launches etc.
o Drive execution of product and brand positioning, marketing plans in consonance with overall brand strategy.
  • Developing Market Intelligence to Drive Product and Sales Strategy.
o Capture Market Intelligence through Multiple sources and the Voice of customer on product and services; Identify potential white spaces due to emerging customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
o Sharing of Market Intelligence about product on regular basis to Product line and Technical Service Head and give inputs on existing product improvements / development of New products and variants to create differentiation in the market.
o Anticipate and monitor competition moves and recommend strategies and actions based on them to ensure sustained favourability and negate its effect on the business if any.
  • Engage with customers and coordinate with Operations Head to resolve customer issues.
  • Ensure pro-active resolution of customer issue pertaining to service and work towards enhancement of customer satisfaction.
2 Financial Management
  • Intervene and influence to resolve issue in collection of receivables from Government Authorities, Customers and Private Customers.
  • Manage Business Development expenses including approvals as per DoA and discuss mitigation plans for excess spends.
  • Review Budget and oversee facilities in the region and track other fixed expenses under cost.
  • Ensure the monthly and annual business growth in the region ensuring increase in profitability of the business.
3 Relationship Management
  • Maintain healthy relationships and partner with key agencies such as Govt officials, STU Authority, provide superior value to customer and channel partners in the region.
  • Meet the customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality. Develop relationship and implement new Business Strategies to capture key demographics.
