Regional Business Development Manager
The role:
- We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. This position is accountable for Business Development for Contract Logistics & Transportation Business of India.
- This position will be based in Mumbai and will manage customers based in West India, seek guidance from National BD Manager. He / She will have to deliver individual BD targets from the agreed geography
As the Business Development Executive, you will:
- Primary responsibility is to achieve Business Development targets for both Warehousing & Transportation divisions of TGL India.
- Maximize revenue and profits through price strategies, margin control and long term retention strategies.
- Analyze market trends; recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
- Maintain BD pipeline reports, present periodic progress reports to senior leadership and review them periodically.
- Understand the customer needs, priorities & ambitions, Develop winning solution concepts and communicate to the customer
- Drive continuous improvement strategies with key customers.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration with Marketing Specialization
- Minimum 2 years of experience in consultative sales
- Advance MS Office including running excel macros; Outlook; Web-based Survey and Data Analysis tools.
- Deep knowledge on operations w.r.t contract Logistics & Transportation is preferred.
- An ambitious and proactive business development person with a proven track record in Supply chain & logistics sector.
- Firm and very intense driver of the business, Negotiation & Persuasion skills
