Job Description

The job involves leading business development efforts and fostering client relationships to drive growth in the renewable energy space, specifically focusing on the C&I clients. It requires a good understanding of the renewable landscape and an experience of handling C&I business, specifically in West or South India
The key responsibilities are -

• Develop and implement business development strategies to build the C&I business in West and South India
• Identify potential clients and build strong relationships to drive growth in the C&I segment.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive strategies across multiple industries.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
• Monitor and report on sales performance and pipeline progress regularly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high standards of service delivery.

A successful Regional Manager - BD C&I should have:

• Atleast 8+ years of experience in the business development in the renewable energy space, specifically focusing on C&I clients
• A strong background in sales or business development in the open access space in renewable energy
• Independently and successfully concluded long term C&I power sale recently
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.
• A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving targets.

The client is a large Indian conglomerate which is heavily expanding in the renewable energy space. They have a presence at a pan-India level and are looking to scale up the renewable energy business in the coming years.
The candidate will get a chance to work with a large conglomerate which is growing aggressively in the renewable energy space. S/he will get a chance to build the C&I portfolio for the organisation in West and South India.
