The Boeing Company is seeking to recruit a strategic thinker and innovator to direct and develop its security and fire protection engagement across India. Functionally reporting to Boeing\'s Director for International Security, this Regional Head of Security will be responsible for leading a growing team of security and fire professionals, across a complex and rapidly evolving aerospace and defence business portfolio, delivering risk management services and standards to protect people, property and information, and support business resiliency. In this role the incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of Boeing\'s security and fire protection strategy and best practice across India. This will include the formulation of timely and effective advice and guidance to the Company\'s business units and senior leadership on all matters of safety and security, including threat assessment and security risk management, emergency incident and crisis management, government classified programs, and major event security. The role will be based in New Delhi. Position Responsibilities: The key responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to the following: Lead the growing International Security team in India, aligning it with Boeing\'s security mission and strategy, and with Boeing India\'s business objectives. Establish and maintain a strong relationship with business partners and other key stakeholders, integrating closely into the country, Business Unit, and international security team leadership forums. Build strategic partnerships with national and state government organizations, law enforcement, security and intelligence agencies, and other relevant organizations to advance Boeing\'s position on key issues. Formulate timely and effective advice and guidance to the company\'s Business Units and Boeing India\'s leadership on threat assessment and security risk management, and shape senior thinking on the security aspects of future business development and geographical positioning of new business ventures. Develop and implement large scale, high impact integrated security management plans to ensure business, technical, and customer requirements are met. Forecast, acquire, and deploy resources to meet organizational objectives, oversee technical management of suppliers and lead organizational initiatives to evaluate and improve programs, services, and processes. Determine financial requirements and oversee organizational financial metrics to ensure realistic security budgets are attained and set for all projects and activities in India. Develop and maintain country-focused operational and performance metrics that help inform and persuade risk conscious business decision-making. Establish senior connections with security policy counterparts in the Indian Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces to ensure that Boeing India stays aligned with policy development and continues to meet its industrial security obligations. Oversee governance, risk and compliance requirements, security and safety education, security investigations, threat management issues, commercial vendor support, and the integration of organizational plans, policies, and procedures to ensure business success. Provide guidance and support to the country leadership team in its crisis management and emergency response plans, actions, and training. This includes the development and maintenance of contingency plans, enhanced national and regional situational awareness, and identification of country-specific threats, hazards, and vulnerabilities. Implement robust policies and processes that enable the business to remain agile and to be governance and risk-compliant, including emergency and business continuity planning. Foster a culture of security and safety awareness across the Region. Recruit and retain the best team and talent, and set high expectations through challenging but achievable operational goals. Provide developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance the team\'s and its individuals\' skills and knowledge, and optimize their capability and competencies for the future. Eligibility and other Requirements: This opportunity is for an international locally hired employee who will be permanently based in India. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in India. Pay and benefits are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing\'s U.S.-based payroll and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, and in accordance with applicable country regulation. With a main office location in New Delhi, this position will be expected to undergo regular travel across India and occasionally to International destinations. The incumbent will need to meet the national requirements to access Indian military establishments and to advise on related classified security matters. BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor\'s degree or higher. 15 or more years of relevant experience, including recent evidence of senior management responsibilities, which might include, or be a combination of, military, law enforcement, intelligence, and corporate security settings. Recent proven track record of at least 10 years senior security management experience in directly managing teams of geographically dispersed employees, including junior managers and their employees Experience in managing dedicated budget and financial reporting, which might include profit and loss responsibility. Prior experience of physical security measures including technical security systems. Prior practical experience of monitoring and managing operational risks, incident response, and supporting business resilience. Previous security experience in the Indian Subcontinent, including fluency in Hindi and English (essential), and Tamil (desirable) Have detailed knowledge and practical experience of security risk assessment/ management/mitigation processes, plans, and practices. Prior experience of networking with industry peers for best practice benchmarking through organizations such as OSAC, ASIS, ACSG, etc. Confident communicator when speaking and in writing, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor\'s degree or higher. Although not essential, the successful candidate is likely to have a Masters degree in a related subject, or an internationally-recognized professional security qualification of similar standing. Experience of delivering classified security requirements in support of the Indian government. Relocation: This position offers relocation.
