Design & ensure execution of sales strategies through the Vertical and staff and deliver planned business targets for the Vertical.

2. Plan and drive lead generation activities for Life Insurance business by organizing activities like Customer Events, Agent Connects.

3. Plan & Strategies for manpower allocation within allocated Vertical, segmentation in order to ensure achieve revenue/premium targets for their respective vertical relationship.

4. Ensure quality recruitment of manpower to enable HNI customer requirement & Recruit Quality Agents which shall result in high quality sales as per the requirement.

5. Conduct regular meetings (as per hierarchy mapping grid defined) on Business Planning

6. Analyze the objective and create a strategy for the Region

7. Working on and executing an action plan with Team to achieve the set targets for the quarter/year. .

Recruit and Develop Hire, Develop & create high performing BSM & MOA Team Develop and implement initiatives to increase attractiveness of the organization from recruitment stand point Ensure clear targets and effective performance management process by providing advice, consultancy & support to the team; coaching & Mentoring for agency leader development; effectively managing and monitoring poor sales performance and non-compliance and taking disciplinary action when necessary Ensure appropriate training and development interventions Conduct timely and transparent appraisals and monthly1:1s with direct reports Actively manage vertical and horizontal career development of team

Achieve Targets Meet or exceed all business targets (Topline, Renewal, Licenses, Activation & Productivity) Track product wise sales performance

Accountability Supporting Actions Deliver new business premium and value of new business (VNB) targets for the region Initiate activities for continuous lead generation Monitor and review sales performance parameters with the Branch Managers on a daily basis

Maintain Quality Set up and monitor operational procedures in the region Embed culture of need based selling in the agency sales force Ensure complete adherence to training calendar for the sales force Monitor and analyze quality of business on a regular basis Ensure structured communication interventions with agency manager and agents Provide inputs for development of operational plans and target setting for the agency channel Provide inputs for creation of annual DAP

Gain Profitability Achieve revenue targets and manage regional cost controls against budget Manage the regional cost and business ratio Gain regional profitability on a monthly basis thereby making it a Profit Hub

The Successful Applicant

Graduate with 12-24 years of retail sales management experience MBA with 10-11 years of experience (at least 8 years of insurance sales management experience)

Knowledge Knowledge of financial and insurance markets

Skills Negotiating and Persuasive skills Excellent interpersonal and communications skills(in maintaining relationships with other functions) Results orientation in achieving targets Leadership Skills Data Analysis skills Presentation skills Pro-active approach, nurturing current customer base and expanding the market
