Regional Finance ControllerDesignation: Senior Manager - Finance OperationsLocation - MumbaiJOB PURPOSE:Lead regional finance operations, ensuring fiscal management through financial record-keeping, reporting, analysis, and process improvement to enhance financial results.RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial Policies and Process Leadership:- Implement global and regional financial policies and protocols.- Develop regional standards and improve operational cycles.- Ensure compliance and efficiency in finance operationsFinance Operations:- Coordinate budgeting across countries.- Monitor financial accounting operations and metrics.- Oversee regional financial closing and reporting.- Ensure quality of finance data and collections targets.Audit and Controls:- Maintain oversight of audit processes.- Address audit findings and implement solutions.- Approve payments within authorized limits.Technology Management:- Review and enhance finance systems.- Coordinate implementation of new systems.- Develop technology roadmap for finance operations.Stakeholder Management:- Advise regional leadership on financial matters.- Assess credit worthiness and tax compliance.- Maintain customer relationships for finance issues.Team & People Management:- Ensure adequate resourcing and skill development.- Plan career paths and succession.- Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.General Experience:- 15 years of progressive financial experience.- Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS principles.- Managerial Experience:- Coach and mentor team members.- Preferably experience in supply chain or logistics industries.
