Your field of responsibility

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supports the set up and ongoing maintenance of Global Client, Internal Counterparty Accounts & FIRM Client SSIs, Firm SSIs (Nostro/Depot) data
  • Understand the business areas that the group supports and manage workflow based on Customer / Market priority and sensitivities
  • Develop an understanding of the importance of the data integrity of the function and action all requests with a control based approach
  • Identify trends/common themes and work with the Line Manager to address those
  • To conduct a review of various control reports and take action as necessary
  • Ensure appropriate handover to other members of the team globally
  • Address any ad-hoc queries from internal clients
  • Build-relationships with peers and partners in order to cultivate outstanding relationship between Group Data and other areas
  • Participate in various tactical and strategic-initiatives involving/impacting our systems/processes
  • Identify ways of improving workflow design through changing business and user requirements
  • Develop an understanding of high level process flow in other areas, who rely on reference data to achieve their deliverables

Your skills and experience

Maintenance –Accounts and Standard Settlement Instruction (SSI) team is a critical function in Reference data. Group Account and Standard Settlement Instructions team in Pune is responsible for sourcing and maintaining Client referential data across all lines of business for the APAC region. This predominantly includes production processes and controls associated with Client account and Internal Counterparty account setup/amendments (including closures) and SSI setup/amendments (including closures) of Client SSIs, Firm SSIs (Nostro/Depot) in over 10 systems with ongoing maintenance. The objective of the process is to ensure most accurate and up-to-date static details and instruction are maintained in the various systems.


  • Familiarity with the Investment Banking subject will be an added advantage
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Good analytical and technical skills, with attention to detail
  • Good organization and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Determination to excel in servicing internal and external clients to be able to ensure the highest level of service to at all times
  • Self driven attitude towards identifying-opportunities to find efficiencies and cut costs
