Design Thinker, Design researcher and Strategist (With experience of 2-3 years) Role of Design Strategist at WNS At the Co-creation Lab we aim to change the way we (WNS) engage with clients over complex business problems using human-centered design as our central philosophy. We seek to borrow tools from 'the designer's toolkit' to solve critical business problems. The design strategists are the custodians of the toolkit, responsible for its creation, upkeep and growth. The design strategist plays a critical role in our ecosystem, they are facilitators of the design process. Their role is to engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand critical business issues, identify & deploy the right design tools, lead research and synthesis phases, facilitate workshops and take engagements to closure Responsibility area

• Own engagements end-to-end: connect with internal and external stakeholders to understand briefs, frame problem statements, create roadmaps/engagement models, conduct (user) research, synthesize findings and imagine and prototype possible solutions
• Apply principles of design and/or systems thinking to create meaningful interventions and engagements [workshops] between our clients and sales and solutioning functions

• Prepare instructional design/program for client workshops - agnda, objectives, session flows, etc as well as translate that into Miro/Mural boards and other collaterals
• Support the day to day lab operations - coordinating and setting up client visits across Pune, London and NY labs
• Participate in hiring decisions across the innovation labs initiatives
• Build, own and grow the design toolkit
• Educate & Evangelise design and systems thinking within the organization

Qualifications
PG in design strategy, innovation management or digital transformation, Product designer with inclination towards User research and strategy

• Proven record of working on problems around (at least 2) service design, systems thinking, customer experience design, change management (social or institutional), innovation (social or institutional), etc.
• Strong believer of user research and Empathy
• Co/facilitated workshops in the past using methodologies from the human centered design toolkit
• Worked with client stakeholders directly; front-ended client engagements
• Worked on proposals/pitches/approach notes for design led projects in a service/enterprise environment
• Experience in service environment is plus
