A Recruitment Executive focused on screening candidates, lining up interviews, and maintaining databases handles the mid-stage talent pipeline, ensuring qualified applicants move efficiently to hiring managers while keeping records organized and up-to-date.?
Candidate Screening Duties
Review resumes, applications, and profiles against job descriptions to filter for required skills, experience, qualifications, and cultural fit, using checklists or ATS filters to identify top matches quickly.?
Conduct initial telephonic or video screening calls to verify details, assess communication, motivation, and basic competencies, and flag red flags like employment gaps or mismatched expectations.?
Administer pre-screening assessments, such as skill tests or questionnaires, to shortlist only viable candidates for further stages.?
Interview Coordination
Schedule and coordinate interviews by aligning candidate, hiring manager, and panel availability, sending calendar invites, confirmations, and preparation materials like JD overviews or agendas.?
Manage the interview process end-to-end: collect feedback forms post-interview, update candidates on next steps within 24-48 hours, and handle rescheduling or no-shows professionally.?
Track interview metrics like turnout rates, feedback turnaround, and drop-offs to optimize future processes.?
Database and Reporting Management
Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) or databases with candidate details, statuses (sourced, screened, interviewed, offered, rejected), notes, and communication history for audit trails and future sourcing.?
Build and nurture talent pools by categorizing candidates (e.g., active, passive, future roles) and sending periodic engagement updates to keep warm leads ready.?
Generate regular MIS reports on screening volumes, shortlist ratios, interview pipelines, and database health, sharing insights with HR leads for process improvements.?
