The Recruiter & HR Specialist for India will drive the recruitment function across Indian markets and support local & regional HR initiatives linked to recruitment, employee value proposition & special initiatives. Reporting into the Head of HR, India, this role will be accountable for delivering our goal to attract and recruit the best talent and managing the end to end recruitment of full time employees, fixed term contracts, interns and campus hires. Your job
  • Understand the strategic workforce, and support the workforce planning, of the business.
  • Collaborate and partner with the business managers to ensure attraction and engagement of a talented and diverse workforce.
  • Analyze key recruitment metrics, communicate recruitment trends, results and insights to drive future recruitment activities for hiring managers and the senior management team.
  • Provide coaching and training to hiring managers on recruitment strategies; including, but not limited to, effective selection and interviewing techniques.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, in close partnership with hiring managers for all positions on job postings, short listing and interview with potential candidates.
  • Liaise with the hiring manager on compensation & benefits and other aspects relevant to the employment contract in order to ensure that the Company will adhere to all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Work with hiring manager on campus recruiting & recruitment of interns, driving these initiatives from campus selection, to candidate selection and final onboarding.
  • Hands-on management of recruitment related technology systems, tools and assessment products, as well as training and utilization of such systems.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders on Attraction topics such as employee branding, value propositions, and drive implementation and adoption across India.
  • Provide HR reports locally & regionally on recruitment related data.
  • Manage and ensure that the on-boarding process is leading edge and off-boarding processes are undertaken efficiently
  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutes of higher learning, professional networking organizations, and recruitment networks.
Your profile
  • Solid recruitment experience gained in a multinational organization and/or a reputable recruitment agency
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Higher Diploma or equivalent with specialization in Human Resources Management and/ or Psychology
  • Minimum six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in recruitment and Human Resources in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Financial Services / Insurance/ Reinsurance background is an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive experience in developing and maintaining robust and business focused relationships with key stakeholders, as well as experience working in a matrix organisation structure
  • Ability to evaluate complex or diverse information to drive efficient and effective recruitment process
