The Hospital Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. The role involves greeting and assisting patients, managing appointments, handling phone calls, and maintaining smooth communication between hospital departments. The receptionist ensures a welcoming environment and provides excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly.
Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.
Register patients, verify personal and insurance details, and update records in the hospital system.
Guide patients regarding hospital procedures, departments, and facilities.
Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized manner.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for smooth patient flow.
Handle billing-related queries and provide information about hospital services.
Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
Assist in managing incoming and outgoing mail, courier, and documents.
Maintain records of visitors, patient check-ins, and related administrative logs.

Pay: ₹7,500.00 - ₹9,000.00 per month
