The role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service. It involves welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries efficiently and courteously.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a pleasant first impression.
Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel PMS.
Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries in a professional manner.
Provide information about hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and travel arrangements.
Handle guest complaints and requests promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
Maintain accurate guest records and billing information.
Process payments, prepare invoices, and handle cash/credit card transactions responsibly.
