Your responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: . Leadership and Management: Drive a disciplined data management culture throughout the RE organisation by training relevant associates, being the go to person and/or critical issue point for questions and concerns regarding the RE domains data model on operational, tactical and strategic level. . Foster continuous improvement and lean thinking and benchmark our data framework with peers in the industry. Closely align with IT in order to automate, optimize and digitalize the framework. Work closely with data managers from other domains with strong interactions with RE (P&O/HR, Procurement, IT and Finance). Discuss and provide guidance for RE IT budget according to the IT plans set for REFS, as per the directions of the Head of REFS strategy & alliance. . Implementation and Operations : Owns and implements all aspects of operational changes necessary to move from existing processes into the new global REFS process framework and System landscape, achieving a balance between speed of implementation and risk of disruption to services. . System Landscape: Take business ownership for the build and maintenance of overall RE system landscape, its master data and enabling those through system rollouts across countries. Leads the RE Governance structure for all related (IT) solutions. Drives identification of process & system opportunities to optimize the investments made in the global IT Architecture. Leads identification of core solutions in collaboration with IT in alignment with related strategies and develop roadmap for implementations . Data Management : Maintain RE data governance. Own the development and maintenance of RE data catalogue and model. Enable exchange of data between the retained and outsourced RE technology. Provide online access to RE data maintained by the vendor. Provide strategic and performance insight for RE customers. Ensure the quality of the data maintained in outsourced as well as retained systems. Retain Novartis RE information following Novartis data retention schedules . People Management: Role model a leadership style which is inclusive, proactive, respectful, change agile, innovation/creativity and results driven with a strong customer service focus. They will also build and develop talent, and drive a lean team, who will be looking after data and technology projects. Diversity & Inclusion / EEO Minimum Requirements What you\'ll bring to the role: . Education (minimum/desirable): Technical or Scientific Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience. Additional qualification in economics, six sigma and LEAN advantageous . 12+ years\' experience in Data Management, Technologies, & Systems. Must have 3yrs of experience in end-to-end Real Estate Management. . Knowledge of MS Office and other standard software applications. Good understanding of process with respect to real estate data, technology, and systems. . Knowledge of lean six sigma, green belt or black belt. Prior experience of process evaluation and improvement. Strong analytical skills. . Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with senior stakeholders at a site, regional and global level. Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with internal (cross-functional) as well as external third parties to achieve goals Desirable Requirement . Ability to analyze complex situations and systems in order to increase efficiency on productivity and to make balanced decisions. Proven success of working in a collaborative environment . Ability to drive improvement projects and initiatives across regions. Ability to operate and report following multi-level Governance structure.
