Job Title: General Manager - Finance : As the General Manager of Finance, you\'ll be instrumental in steering the Revenue Recognition, General Ledger, and Accounts Payable operations of the organization, serving as the central hub for transactions. Your key duties include: 1. Revenue Recognition and Accounts Receivable: Ensure revenue recognition adheres to regulatory standards with meticulous documentation.
Enhance the revenue recognition process and agreements continuously.
Collaborate closely with department heads for smooth and transparent revenue recognition.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for Accounts Receivable, overseeing client reconciliation and balances. 2. Accounts Payable and General Ledger: Supervise Accounts Payable operations, including employee reimbursements, by liaising effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Establish guidelines, SOPs, and process enhancements for diverse business transactions.
Oversee monthly General Ledger closure, ensuring accurate cost accounting.
Initiate technology implementations in relevant areas. 3. Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Lead and oversee a team responsible for daily finance operations.
Exhibit exceptional stakeholder management skills, coordinating extensively with various parties.
Maintain robust process controls and ensure compliance with regulations. 4.Expertise and Qualifications: Demonstrate strong expertise in Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Reporting, GST, and MIS.
Possess exposure to Treasury functions, which is advantageous.
Preferably from the Real Estate sector, holding a semi-qualified CA/CMA (ICWA) with a minimum of 20 years of experience.
Previous experience in controllership positions within organizations with a turnover exceeding 100 Crores for the last 3 years is desirable.
Candidates with a finance background or semi-qualified CA/CMA are eligible.
Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with cost-center-centric environments are beneficial.
