You will be working as R&D test Lead, will be the part of Process Automation business area for Process Industries Division based in Brigade Southfield-Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible to lead and develop cutting edge industrial control applications for the Digital Smart Manufacturing industry. Collaborating with global R&D teams, the breadth of technologies and control strategies employed is broad. We are looking for someone who is technically very strong but also with an interest in leading/managing local and remote teams. The successful candidate will have a desire to work in a global, dynamic and challenging environment and will be highly rewarded from both a career and remuneration perspective. Opportunities will be available to develop their career in the future.Your responsibilities Understating the features, developing test cases and test execution for web/desktop products in process industries, working with project managers to understand scope, features and estimating testing and automation effort for new project Planning testing activities with local and remote teams, collaborating with development teams, providing inputs in product meetings to create high quality products within the defined schedule and budget Having experience in manual testing as well automation Testing using relevant tools, managing Test cases, test results and bugs in TFS/VSTS, maintaining and continuously improving the test automation coverage and reliability Should be proficient or have the capability of becoming proficient at installing and configuring test environments, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches Aside from project responsibility, the successful candidate also providing strategic sales, training, and customer/application support Your background Bachelors/Masters 6 to 8 years of experience 5+ years of Experience in Integration test planning and execution Experience in API & non-functional testing, Agile development environment, TFS & Microsoft testing tools (MTM, Test controller, Test Agents) and working with virtual environments (VMware / HyperView / Azure) Should have architected and designed web-based software applications and desktop software applications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English More about us Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services across industries.
