Mission

The R&D Software Configuration Management Technical Support role applies the configuration management to
all product specific documents, source code and project tools according to Valeo configuration management
strategy. Their aim is to establish and maintain the integrity of all the configuration items of the project and
make them available to all concerned parties.

Responsibilities

? Develop, maintain and drives the Project Configuration Management Plan (SCMP) for completion
? Coordinate the setup of configuration management, incl. baselines, folder structure
? Select Configuration Management Tool(s), in case it is not made available by the organization.
Identifies and coordinates Project Tools ADMIN (Access, Control, etc)
? Ensure the repository of all configuration items following the configuration management plan, e.g.
labelling, naming convention etc.
? Generate project baseline upon project leader request
? Alignment with Tool responsibles for further improvement of Tools being used.
? Reports defects of Configuration management tools to IT System Engineer.
? Store, handle and deliver configuration items.
? Create and maintains Project Configuration Item List
? Report continuously each Configuration Item Status to the Project Manager

Professional Experience
? Basic knowledge of configuration management procedure
? Basic knowledge of the configuration management, baseline activities, labelling etc.
? Basic knowledge of change request and problem reporting quality procedures
? Basic knowledge of the used configuration management tool (e.g GIT and SVN)

Qualifications

Graduate/Diploma in Electronics, Computer Science or Software Engineering
