Key Responsibilities:
Innovation & Recipe Development:
Create new recipes, menu items, and food concepts, experimenting with ingredients and techniques.
Research & Trends:
Stay updated on culinary trends, consumer preferences, and emerging ingredients.
Scalability & Costing:
Adapt recipes for mass production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Collaboration:
Work with marketing, production, and food science teams to align development with company goals.
Documentation & Standards:
Maintain detailed records, develop standardized procedures, and ensure compliance with food safety and nutritional standards.
Sensory Evaluation:
Conduct taste tests and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
Production Support:
Assist in streamlining processes for efficient manufacturing and train kitchen staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Culinary expertise (Chef background).
Strong understanding of food science, nutrition, and ingredient functionality.
