Making research reports/ presentations for borrowers / sectors requested by LC, MC, SME credit underwriting team /Management/board committees
Attending and reviewing quarterly results conference calls / sector update webinars & updating credit teams
Detailed Quarterly result updates of the sectors under coverage Monthly updates of the sector under coverage and making appropriate reports for the same
Timely issuing update of identification of risk/impact analysis of significant event/news on the Bank's portfolio, supporting it with detailed analysis
Allocating sector ratings, creating outlook reports on an annual and as and when the need arises
Thematic projects or analysis on sectors to support other departments such as Business/Risk/Underwriting on decision making
Participate in ad-hoc projects related to portfolio exercises, regulatory developments, sector outlook notes, audit/RBI exercises and support Group Head/CCO for various business strategies
Skills:
Financial services experience of 3-10 years and relevant credit/equity research experience of at least 3 years in 2-3 sectors including Infrastructure Sector
Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial markets, economic / industry trends
Strong accounting background, knowledge of financial ratios, financial statement analysis
Ability to grasp the external environment , forecast the developments of the sectors and its possible impact on the Credit portfolio
Affluent with Microsoft office tools Good communication (both verbal & written) and inter-personal skills
Strong analytical and report writing skills
Problem solving ability to tackle difficult situations that may arise due to change in external or internal environment
Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
