About Retail Credit and Wholesale Credit:

The Retail Credit and Wholesale Credit department focuses on the collection of the bank's various loan products like Home Loans, Car Loans, and Personal Loans among others. While underwriting department focuses on risk mitigation towards the loan offered to the customers. The department is key for the Loans business vertical as it is responsible for controlling and ensuring timely EMI collection and maintaining risk of the business.

About the Role:

Manage the Pan India credit appraisal process for Personal Loans, Auto Loan, Credit Cards (Commercial and Retail); also responsible for the credit process pertaining to Retail Asset FCY Loan and Over Draft Against Fixed Deposits (Individuals) and Gold Loan High Value credit underwriting. The role encompasses the end to end credit operation process including vendor management and management of the Underwriting Officer located at Mumbai and Hyderabad and Noida.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage underwriting process for Retail Assets/Credit Cards within Retail Lending and payments vertical
  • To appraise or underwrite loan within defined policy guidelines and accordingly take decisions or recommend for approval to appropriate authority
  • To assess the income, ability, intention, and credit behavior and verify it documents and reference checks as well as from various kinds of credit bureau checks.
  • Responsible to evaluate all the credit risk parameters and measures to mitigate the same
  • To prepare Credit Approval Memo
  • Managing the overall TAT, Approval Rate
  • To ensure complete adherence to laid down policy and procedure / process
  • Fi initiation and completion on respective systems
Qualifications:

  • Turnaround time (TAT), Login to DIP Outward TAT will be considered and source of data would be Shikhar and System MIS

  • Stakeholder feedback (Credit, Policy, BIU, Business, CRO team etc)
  • Error rates of CPC Dip
