Loom Operation Management

Ensure smooth and continuous operation of

rapier looms

. Monitor loom efficiency and reduce down-time. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues quickly.

Team Supervision

Supervise

weavers

,

fitters

, and

helpers

working on rapier looms. Schedule and assign tasks to shift workers. Ensure team follows

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

and safety protocols.
3.

Production Monitoring

Meet

production targets

(quantity and quality). Maintain daily production reports and loom performance logs. Monitor fabric quality -- identify and reduce

defects

like broken picks, floats, or oil marks.
4.

Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate with the

maintenance department

for timely repairs and preventive maintenance of looms. Ensure all looms are properly lubricated, aligned, and running at optimal settings.
5.

Quality Control

Inspect fabric for weaving faults or quality issues. Ensure compliance with

quality standards

and

customer specifications

. Implement corrective actions for recurring defects.
6.

Training and Development

Train new operators and workers on rapier loom handling and safety. Continuously upgrade team skills in handling modern weaving technologies.
7.

Inventory & Resource Management

Monitor and manage usage of

weft yarns

,

spare parts

, and consumables. Request materials as needed to avoid stoppages.
8.

Health & Safety Compliance

Enforce use of

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

. Maintain a clean and safe working environment around looms.

Pay: ₹10,001.75 - ₹35,988.78 per month

Work Location: In person
