The R Developer Consultant has the following responsibilities and duties:

• Create, test and validate R Shiny Applications
• Develop R Shiny Applications for reporting and visuals as needed
• Extract data and perform data manipulation for Shiny App Development
• Perform unit tests for Shiny App calculations as needed
• Perform good documentation and CI/CD

Requirements
The R Developer Consultant should have the following skills, education and experience:
Skills
Required:

• Strong R Coding skills
• Experience working with JavaScript and R
• Familiar with python programming
• Experience with R Markdown
• Experience developing Shiny Applications
• Familiar with R package development
• Familiar with statistical analysis methods
• Familiar with Agile methodology and tools
• Experience with version control systems (Bitbucket, Git, etc.)

• *Preferred:

• Strong understanding JavaScript libraries in RShiny
• Familiar with Shiny Tests and automation
• Experience in cloud computing environment
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Experience with APIs and deploying APIs to Connect Server
• Knowledge about clinical data structure and processing workflow

Education
Required:

• Bachelors in a quantitative field such as computer science, information technology or other related disciplines.

Preferred:

• Masters or PhD in a quantitative field such as computer science, information technology or other related disciplines.

Experience

• An experienced professional will have at least 3 years of professional experience in a data related role with a Masters Degree or 5 years of experience in a data related role with a Bachelors degree
