Summary

QMS

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage Quality Management System and TRS for MMF (AS9100, customer certifications) and Regulatory approvals including NADCAP, CE / PED, IBR etc.
  • Work closely with AME Team to manage digitization of key quality metrics, deployment of Quality module in MES etc. and also support Lean initiatives (re-layout/ resource optimization/ automation etc)
  • Work with cross functional team, executive APAP at MMF.
  • Manage QMS processes deployment, monitor process performances & identify improvement needs
  • Configuration management, control of QMS documents, records and audit artifacts
  • Use risk-based approach to develop audit program, plan and execute audit/assessment through complete PDCA cycle.
  • Manage the QMS audit/assessment nonconformity database, provide detailed analysis of nonconformities
  • Lead cross-functional QMS-process improvement initiatives to drive process lean using systematic approach
  • Arrange parodic audit performance meetings within the business and with Certification Bodies
  • Maintain the Internal auditors’ database and undertake auditor development activities.
  • Support business specific QMS deployment working with respective Management Representative and manage QMS risks
  • Identify QMS fictional CI opportunities and provide leadership to use Problem solving approach to drive process improvements
  • Conduct & manage Internal audit , process audit & product audit for site
  • Identify QMS process digitalization opportunities and meet project goals for process digitalization working with cross functional teams
  • Ensure the smooth management of the QMS changes using Awareness, desire, Knowledge, Ability, re-enforcement framework
  • Practice data driven QMS culture through, data analytics, connected QMS, to drive holistic decision making in the organization
  • Responsible for working with Global Quality team to understand quality objectives, support aligning applicable enterprise QMS goals

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace / Mechanical/ Production /Electrical or Electronics etc.) and desirable to have PG diploma/degree in Operations/Quality Management or Quality professional certification (ASQ, CQI, IRCA, LEAN, DFMA, six sigma, VSM) from recognized institute/university
  • Have 8 to 12 years relevant experience in Quality, and regulatory management
  • Must have hands on experience of QMS (Such as AS9100, ISO9001, Nadcap etc.) process definition, implementation, monitoring and leading audit/assessment, in mid-size organization.
  • Must be an internal auditor per AS9100 and ISO17025.
  • Must have working knowledge of analytical/statistical methods, product/process quality planning, APQP per AS9145, AS13100 etc., advanced knowledge of Microsoft apps.
  • Must have knowledge of calibration and testing per ISO 17025 and S-400.
  • Must have experience on product qualification process per customer requirements.
  • Must have knowledge of FAI approvals per S-1002 and AS9102.
  • Must have knowledge of QMS requirements from various customer specifications like S-1000, SABRe, D6-82479 etc.
  • Certified GE Aviation Quality Excellence Program (QEP) will be added advantage.
