Job Description

Lead quality strategy, supplier assurance, and plant operations to ensure zero-defect vehicles. Drive process improvements, compliance, and capability building across multiple manufacturing units.

• Quality Strategy & Governance: Define and implement quality systems across manufacturing units. Drive zero-defect culture through robust process controls, audits, and preventive measures.
• Supplier Quality & Development: Lead supplier quality assurance programs. Ensure incoming material quality through APQP, PPAP, and supplier audits. Collaborate with sourcing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Plant Quality Operations: Oversee in-process and final product quality across vehicle assembly lines. Monitor KPIs like FTR, COPQ, warranty, and customer complaints. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Compliance & Certifications:Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant standards. Lead internal and external audits and maintain certification readiness.

The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in automotive quality across OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers. Proven track record in leading quality functions, supplier development, and cross-functional collaboration is essential. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are a must.
