Quality Engineer Welding Specialist
Job Description
Mission Statement: Act to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity in the value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business. Main Accountabilities: Product development activities for traction transformer fabricated parts i.e tank, cooling system. Procut design Design review of product with supplier before start of project. Process audits Conducts process audits to ensure the conformance of working practices with established processes and procedures. Safety Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner that will encourage others toexercise safety in their normal daily activities. Painting system validation of painting activities of the inhouse / sub supplier. Preparation / Review / approval of WPS / WPQR / BPS / BPQR Qualification Qualification of welders and weld operators, Prolongation of welders, every six months Non conformity and corrective action with regard to non conformity & corrective actions, the necessary measure & actions (i.e. weld repair reassessment of repair welds, corrective action) Qualification : DEE / BE (Mechanical Engineer with certified IWE / IWT ) Experience: 3 to10 years\' experience in Quality assurance activities / Welding engineer
