Quality Engineer - MechanicalQualification - BE MechanicalSalary - 25k - 40kExperience - 2-4yrLocation - Chakan, PuneRole and ResponsibilitiesCandidate will be reporting to operations manager and is required to implement his /
her technical knowledge for customer support.
Key responsibilities are as below but not limited to:

• Well known to CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Actions) documentation, control

plan, Layout report, PDI report, Product audit.

• Shall be able to identify defect and report via NCR and inform customer with 8D

reports

• Shall prepare 8D reports, PPAP, APQP, PPM, MSA & FMEA reports
• Should be aware of Quality tools such as Kaizen, 5S, TPM (Total Productive

Maintenance), QC Tools.

• Shall be aware of defect reduction, Preparation of QA matrix
• Responsible for incoming inspections, in-production inspections, and final inspections
• Responsible for Product Audit, Process Audit, Document Audit & Quality assurance

plan.

• before dispatch, generating and maintaining inspection related documentation.
• Providing necessary pre-sales product information and after-sales technical support

to the customers.

• Assessing, preparing and / or maintaining technical reports and documentation of

products.

• Responsible for scheduling production, successful completion of production and

dispatches of finished tracks and parts.

• Responsible for on-site travel, inspection and repair or replacement of track

components.

• Liaise with customer on quality and production queries
• Providing necessary assistance to other departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be able to communicate well in English, both verbally and in-written.
• Must have at least Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience of 2 - 4 years in similar position in heavy construction equipment

manufacturing industry / automobile industry / similar industry

• Understanding of terminologies used in manufacturing & assembly of steel

fabrications, castings & forgings, machining

• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office with extensive knowledge of
