Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

*Should have knowledge about Wire & Cable costing

Should have expertise in BIS Testing IS- 694, 1554, 7098Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and inspection procedures.

*Perform root cause analysis for product or process issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.

*Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections; lead product audits and quality checks.

*Review engineering and manufacturing specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.

*Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain) to resolve quality-related issues.

*Monitor and analyze quality data, KPIs, and trends to drive improvements.

*Ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, or other relevant industry certifications and regulations.

*Participate in internal and external audits; prepare documentation and lead corrective actions.

*Train employees on quality standards, inspection techniques, and problem-solving tools.

*Recommend process improvements and assist in the development of quality plans and protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent

experience.2-5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance, preferably in [manufacturing/automotive/aerospace/pharma, depending on the industry].

Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, CAPA).

Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems.

Experience with quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and statistical software (Minitab, JMP).

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) are a plus.

Work Environment:Office and production floor environment.

May require occasional travel to suppliers or customers.
