Description:
CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer - Automation position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automated testing throughout CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and execute automated test cases using Java and Spring Boot.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis for test failures across multiple environments.
• Contribute to improving test automation coverage, reliability, and scalability.
• Work with cloud deployment platforms such as Kubernetes (OpenShift experience is a plus).

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud-based deployments.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift environments.

Experience:

• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in software development in testing.
• Proven experience in test automation design, development, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and containerized testing environments.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
