Essential Job Functions:

• Implement custom robot resource files, develop custom keywords for UI , API & backend testing.

Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient automated test scripts using Python, often leveraging frameworks like Selenium, Pytest, Robot Framework, or others depending on the application.

Test Case Design and Execution:

• Create, implement, and execute comprehensive test cases and test suites for various application components (UI, API, backend).

Defect Identification and Tracking:

• Identify, record, and track software bugs and issues using bug tracking tools, collaborating with development teams for resolution.

Framework Development and Enhancement:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, ensuring scalability and reusability.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with developers, other QA team members, and product owners to understand requirements, define testing strategies, and communicate test results effectively.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Analyze test results, provide detailed reports on quality metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Integration with CI/CD:

• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable faster feedback and continuous quality assurance.

Code Reviews:

• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Process Improvement:

• Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and tools within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Total & Relevant Years of Experience - 5+ years
• Mandatory Skills - Automation Testing with Python Background
• Primary skillset in Robot framework or PyTest & Selenium based on Python .
