Conducting routine inspections of production facilities and equipment, and performing laboratory tests on food samples to check for physical, chemical, and microbiological properties like flavour, texture, allergens, and contaminants.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensuring that all food products and production processes comply with food safety regulations, industry standards, and internal company policies.
Data Analysis & Improvement:
Analysing quality data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions to troubleshoot quality-related issues and improve overall quality control systems.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality data, and preparing detailed reports on findings and corrective actions.
Audits:
Participating in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established food safety and quality management systems, such as HACCP and GMP.
Collaboration:
Working with production, R&D, and supplier teams to address quality issues, ensure raw material quality, and maintain consistent product standards.
Training:
Training staff on quality control procedures, sanitation practices, and the importance of food safety to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
