1. Vehicle Quality Inspection
Inspect all vehicles after repair/service (body, mechanical, electrical, etc.) before final delivery to the customer.
Ensure all job cards are completed as per Mahindra standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Verify that all complaints listed in the job card have been addressed properly.
Check road test results, vehicle cleanliness, and overall finishing quality.
2. Process & Standard Compliance
Ensure workshop operations follow
Mahindra's Quality Process Guidelines
(like QMS, TPM, M-STAT, or TSI).
Confirm adherence to
Torque Specifications
,
Repair Manuals
, and
Diagnostic Procedures
.
Ensure all tools and equipment used are calibrated and in proper condition.
3. Customer Concern Resolution
Validate that customer complaints are fully resolved before delivery.
Conduct a
final satisfaction check
from the customer's perspective.
Identify any repeat issues or comeback jobs and take corrective measures.
4. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with:
Service Advisors
- for clarification on job card concerns.
Technicians
- for rework or improvement areas.
Bodyshop/Paintshop
- for finish and alignment quality.
Communicate non-conformities or poor workmanship to the
Workshop Manager
or
Service Head
.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain
QC inspection records
for all vehicles.
Record
Defect Reports

Rework Jobs

Audit Findings

Track
Repeat Repair
and
Customer Complaint Trends

Submit daily/weekly QC reports to the Workshop Manager.
6. Quality Improvement Initiatives
Participate in
PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection)

Conduct

for technicians on common quality issues.
Work on

5S and safety standards
in the workshop.
Check that vehicles are properly cleaned and sanitized before delivery.
8. Customer Experience
Support the delivery team in ensuring
zero defect delivery

Help in achieving high
Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)

Net Promoter Score (NPS)

Handle customer rechecks or post-delivery issues if any quality gap is found.
