Job Description

Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures as per company and industry guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, test reports, and quality records. Identify deviations, defects, or non-conformance issues and report to the concerned department. Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues. Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality manuals. Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant quality standards. Perform root cause analysis for quality problems and suggest corrective/preventive actions. Monitor calibration and maintenance of testing equipment. Provide training and guidance to operators and production staff on quality standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and testing methods. Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, or industry-specific certifications. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a team and coordinate across departments. Good communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Pharmacy / Food Technology / Industrial Engineering (as per industry requirement). 1-3 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered).
